The village market offers essential food supplies like coffee, milk, tea, pasta, and rice.
Additionally, there is a seasonal fresh fruit and vegetable market available. For the best quality, ensure to shop on Mondays and Fridays when the supply dhows arrive.
Bakeries in the area bake fresh pão daily; simply speak to your house manager to organize your daily supply.
During the appropriate season, you can also arrange for fresh fish, crabs, and prawns.

Fuel
Fuel is available in Santa Maria, however due to the logistics of getting fuel to the area it is slightly more expensive than Maputo. For better prices you can fill up just before you enter the Maputo special reserve.
When coming from Kosibay there is a fuel station just after the border.
When coming from Maputo, there is a fuel station just before you cross the cattle grid.
